MALZEIT Safflower Oil 200 ml

Safflower oil (or natural safflower oil) belongs to the drying oils and is very low in yellowing. It is therefore particularly suitable for working with white tones. For some painting techniques it may be necessary to extend the drying process by adding oils. This is particularly important for large-format works and the wet-on-wet technique. Safflower oil is added to the oil paint to intensify the gloss and fluidity without changing the colour tone during the drying process.
