Very versatile, soft, greasy crayons with intense, bright colours. The pastels can be applied dry and mixed like ordinary oil pastels, but they can also be used with water as in watercolour techniques. Oil pastels are best applied on somewhat rougher surfaces. The crayons have a whitish coating of wax that protects them from drying out and can be easily removed with a cloth.
